How to Use a Change Order

1. Reference the Original Contract

Use the change order number to tie this back to the original estimate or contract. Include the original contract date.

2. List Additions & Deletions

Add new line items for added work. Use negative quantities or prices for removed scope. Be specific about what changed.

3. Explain the Why
